CarMax Inc. is adding staff as it continues to expand.
The used-car superstore chain is currently hiring for approximately 55 positions for the company's second store in Jacksonville, Fla. The new 13,600-square-foot store opens on Feb. 23 at 7438 Blanding Blvd.

Transaction prices rose last month despite higher incentives.
TrueCar, Inc. estimated that the average transaction price for light vehicles in the United States was $31,228 in December, up $542 (1.8 percent) from December 2011 and up $396 (1.3 percent) from November.
